2008 will start the 6th year of the Triple Crown Sparkler tournament. In 2007, 430 teams participated in 14U, 16U, and 18U. Once again we held the Showcase All-Star games each evening with over 1600 girls participating. All-Americans were then selected and showcased Friday evening including our TV game with the "best of the best" that aired all across the country. 2007 also saw the first year of our Sparkler Opening Ceremonies Concert featuring the All-America Rejects with our Sparkler Idols opening for the band. Teams in attendance were displayed prior to the concert and had the time of their lives.

Event Testimonials

"Our organization has really enjoyed the great job you guys do with the Sparkler tournament each year and truely appreciate the enormous benefit it provides our young ladies. I know my oldest daughter, Samantha, found her college through last years tournament and we can't be happier for her."

--California Tornadoes

"I just want to let everyone know what a first class event that the Sparkler was this year. Not only did I enjoy the competition, but the atmosphere around the All-star games was terrific and the All-American Rejects concert was excellent. So often my daughters have sacrificed fun activities like the concert to play softball and to have an act like that combined with the tournament make it that much more memorable for my whole family. We enjoyed the entire experience of the Colorado Sparkler. I will reccomend this tournament to any one who asks and hope to return again next year."

SPARKLER SHOWCASE ALL-STAR GAMES

In 2005, the Triple Crown Sparkler tournament launched the Sparkler Showcase All-Star Games with great success. In 2007 we had over 1600 players participate. These games are played each evening during the tournament Monday-Thursday. These Showcase games were selected based on graduating class and regions. We will continue the Showcase All-Star games in 2008. Each evening the Christopher Complex will be gated for General Admission. All players, and up to four coaches per team will be admitted free of charge to the evenings festivities. Along with Showcase All-Star games we will have food vendors, fast pitch product vendors, and special activities: ie: guest speakers, player signings, exhibition games, etc. For more information please visit the 2007 Showcase All-Star website at: http://www.triplecrownsports.com/tourny_detail.asp?tournyid=2438.
