Fouts is the Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year

Montana Fouts, an Alabama softball commit for the class of 2018, is named the Gatorade Softball Player of the Year for Kentucky. Fouts, who is only a junior, already stands over 6 feet tall and throws a blazing fastball that consistently clocks in the high 60's.

This past June, her high school team came up just short of reaching the state championship game. It was a grueling stretch of competition and Fouts threw an amazing 451 pitches through four games in a single day. Overall, she helped her East Carter (Grayson, Ky.) high school team to a 36-5 record on the season.
